Art commissions for special occasions — and lasting memories
A painting makes a truly personal gift for a special birthday, wedding anniversary, a much-loved home, or simply to capture a moment or place you want to remember.
Sussex artist Libby Fellingham is known for the sensitivity with which she captures her subjects. Whether painting a portrait, a house, a beloved pet or an evocative landscape, her work often creates a deeply personal connection — and clients are frequently moved by the way she brings a subject to life.
Libby undertakes commissions in a range of subjects, media and sizes. Most of her work is in oils, but she is happy to discuss different approaches to suit individual requirements and budgets.
Her work has been exhibited at Pfizer in New York, Bank of America’s European headquarters at Canary Wharf, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and The Pastel Society’s annual exhibitions at the Mall Galleries. She was also a contestant on Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of the Year in 2019.
With her background in architecture and training in building conservation with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), Libby has a particular love of painting houses within their landscapes, bringing together her artistic eye with her understanding of buildings and place. However with portraits she enjoys the challenge of painting the ‘landscape’ of the face.
