Libby Fellingham Artist

Libby trained as an architect with a First Class Degree at the Bartlett School, UCL and Diploma at Cambridge University.

She won the first Geoffrey Jellicoe Landscape Architecture Scholarship to the British School in Rome and the subsequent collection of paintings was exhibited by Pfizer at their headquarters in the UK and New York. The 25 paintings were then bought by the Bank of America who commissioned a second ‘Thames’ collection for their European HQ at Canary Wharf.

Libby has had work chosen for two RA Summer Exhibitions, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and The Pastel Society annual shows at the Mall Galleries.

After working as an architect, Libby completed the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings Lethaby Scholarship, a practical scholarship in building conservation. She then carried out illustration work for The Old House Handbook, The Old House Eco Handbook (published by Francis Lincoln) and Design for Old Buildings (published by RIBA).

Libby has a sensitive approach to her artwork that combines a strong artistic eye and ability as a draftsman. She will undertake artwork commissions on any subject: portraits of any sort, including house portraits, pets, and animals as well as landscapes. Most of her works are oil paintings but she can offer a range of media and sizes to suit any budget, if you would like to discuss any ideas further, do contact Libby: libby@libbyfellingham.com

Although Libby is based in East Grinstead, Sussex, as she works from photographs, the distance from a subject is not a problem and she can send artwork as far afield as required.
